IREPS e-Tendering: Avoiding the Five Most Common Rejections
Bid encryption failures, expired certificates, mismatched PAN details, late uploads and unsigned annexures — and how to prevent each one.

Most rejected bids fail on process, not on price. These five checks, done a day before the deadline, prevent nearly all of them.
1. Bid encryption failure
Encryption fails when the signer utility loses the token mid-process. Keep the token inserted throughout, do not switch users, and never let the machine sleep during upload.
2. Expired or mismatched certificate
The certificate registered on the portal must be the same one used to sign. Renewing a DSC without updating the registered certificate on the portal is a frequent and fatal oversight.
3. PAN and registration mismatch
Details in the bid documents must match the vendor profile exactly, including spelling and spacing of the firm name. Correct the profile first, then prepare the bid.
4. Late upload
Server time — not your computer clock — governs the deadline. Large attachments on a slow link routinely miss it. Upload at least a few hours in advance and keep the acknowledgement.
5. Unsigned annexures
Every annexure that requires a signature must carry it before upload. Re-open each generated PDF and confirm the signature panel shows a valid signature, then keep a copy of the final submission receipt.
