HRMS Made Simple: Leave, Pay Slip and Service Record
A walkthrough of the modules RDSO employees use most, plus what to do when OTPs do not arrive or your employee number is not recognised.

HRMS covers a lot of ground, but most colleagues only need three modules regularly. Here is what each one does and the quickest route through it.
Leave module
Apply, track and cancel leave, and view the running balance for each leave type.
- Sign in and open the Leave module from the employee dashboard.
- Check the balance before applying — an application beyond balance is auto-rejected.
- Select leave type, dates and reason, then submit to the reporting officer.
- Track the status; a pending application can usually be withdrawn before approval.
Pay slip and salary details
Monthly pay slips can be viewed and downloaded as PDF once payroll is processed for that month. If a month is missing, payroll for that cycle has not been published yet — it is not a data loss.
Service record (e-SR)
Verify personal details, qualifications, promotions and family particulars. Discrepancies must be raised through your establishment section with supporting documents; they cannot be self-edited.
Common login problems
Most sign-in failures fall into a small set of causes.
- OTP not received: confirm the mobile number registered in HRMS is current; ask establishment to update it.
- Employee number not recognised: check for leading zeros and the correct unit code.
- Repeated failures: wait for the lockout window to pass rather than retrying, which extends it.
- Page not loading: try a different browser and clear cookies for the domain.
